Project Information
Dark Tower was a mod project created in a short amount of time. It was originally based on Stephan King's Dark Tower series of novels but during the second half of it's creation this premise was quasi-dropped. Reason for this was mainly time, we didn't have the time to create the assets during the second half so we focused on gameplay and mechanics.
Gameplay was meant to be similar to Smash TV. The objective is to get the highest score possible possible with three lives. Originally built as a single player game, the game does work(to a point) multiplayer(riddled with bugs, but it does work). My Job was as Lead Designer/Scripter. I oversaw the project and helped others when possible. I specifically worked on the level design, camera system, and monster AI.
